I'm working on a final for a research class I'm taking this summer, and I came across this very interesting PDF that I thought I'd share. This was a very interesting study. Thanks for posting it! To me the most surprising thing was in Texas only 14% of the population ID themselves as birders. And TX has some of the very best birding in the entire country. Isn't that sad?

I can see I am in the minority, even among birders, when it comes to keeping lists and traveling specifically to see birds.
