A Cuckoo at SJWS

I decided to go for a bird walk today despite the heat since its been ages since I last went out. SJWS was birdy as always, even around 3:30pm. I was with my non-birder friend Pete, who I sometimes bring along for company. We saw a bird with rufous wings fly over and land in the willows in front of us - a yellow-billed cuckoo.

It was towards the back ponds, where you can turn towards the boardwalk or left to more ponds, and turn into the path for that first pond on your right. it hung out for a few minutes then flew left toward the intersection of the first three ponds. I went into Audubon house to verify my sighting and let someone know it was there, and apparently it had already been reported that morning by another birder in a slightly different location =)
I went back out to try and find it again with Trude Hurd, the project director of education at SJWS, but no luck. I did however see this adorable little thing...

This bobcat kitten's mom was close by and keeping an eye on me so I snapped a few photos and moved on.

Anyone care to I.D. this little guy for me?
